Summer Lecture Series

Led by academics from the University of Cambridge. Each week students will visit the world-renowned Cambridge Union Society Debating Chamber to attend lectures and Q&A sessions. Academic stress include:

Leys School is right next to Cambridge University and is the only co-ed boarding school in the area. Students from Leys have outstanding performances in public exams, especially in Science subjects. Summer Explorer focuses on developing core English language skills through project-based learning activities and interactive learning – an effective way to learn language quickly and successfully.
There is no better way to learn about British life and culture than to experience it for yourself. Study tours also play an important role in our learning approach. Students prepare for their study tour in class and have educational tasks to complete during their trip, this is then discussed in lessons afterwards.

Switzerland Summer Leadership Course 2023

Leadership skills are developed throughout camp through fun and challenging outdoor activities. The main goal is for students to have the time of their lives while learning at the same time and experiencing Switzerland.
The international team of senior trainers facilitate students’ development of communication skills, goal setting, time management techniques, teamwork, and many other important life skills.
Students will also learn about “savoir vivre” and etiquette, and have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops such as first aid training, dancing, outdoor and media workshops while learning to work more effectively in teams.
Young Leaders Course

Young Leaders is a flagship leadership course that develops motivated students’ English skills whilst providing them with the key 21st century skills and global perspective required to become future leaders of their generation.
Students will look at different styles of leadership and key interpersonal skills. These will encompass the ideals of the UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs); with the continually changing global climate, it is more important than ever for students to be given the opportunity to build on their leadership skills within a context that is relevant to their future.
Centered around a weekly themed project, each week will focus on a different style of leadership, or key leadership skills, using an SDG as a lens to discover and demonstrate these skills. The sessions include theory lessons, interactive lectures, project research, real-life case studies and debate, provide a stimulating and varied learning experience.
